I am running because I want to bring Aurora to a brighter future. Aurora is the second largest city in Illinois, and I know that we can be an example for the rest of the state to follow. The City of Aurora is a diverse community, and that diversity is heavily expressed in the 10th Ward. I want to be a representative for EVERYONE, not just a few residents. I want to build greater community input and community engagement in the ward. I believe that not only is a better Aurora possible, it's within our grasp. Through building our community from the ground up, we can build up Aurora and the 10th Ward and TRULY make it
I will work to ensure that residents across the ward are represented and listened to, regardless of neighborhood or income level.
Spend money on developing the community and ensuring that they are the ones receiving the benefits of those developments.
The people have a right to know the functions of their government. I will work to ensure that there is openness government business and government meetings so the people know exactly what kind of deals occur in their government.
The jobs of the future will be in green energy. Aurora should lead in creating those jobs, and ensuring they are good, well-paying jobs.
It is the duty of every representative to use every tool in their arsenal to reach out to all of their constituents. In the digital era, it is easier than ever before to reach out to ALL constituents. I will work to make that a reality.
